I like them. The patch is a uniquely soccer tradition. I can't think of any other major sport that does the patch tradition. I remember swapping patches with opponents after games in youth soccer.

I think having the patches make it a soccer hat and gives it a little something to make people think twice before assuming someone just messed up their Yankees logo

Technically, if you don't zip all the way up then you can have a larger hood opening area, looking like a jedi.

I like the 1/4 zip in that I can fit the garment over my head and if cold, zip it up. It also removes the awkward zipper lumps that happen when you sit down in a hoodie. I hate zippered garments due to this, so I'm fine with the quarter zip. Reading the above posts, I seem to be in the minority on this viewpoint though.

I emailed fanservice to see if they're thinking about selling the jersey. They're most likely gonna respond something like "We have no plans for that" instead of "mls won't let us"
