I'm in the same boat. I haven't bought a home shirt since 2015 (why bother?) and before last year I hadn't bought a secondary shirt since the early years.
It was either early this year or some time last year there was a random Adidas eBay deal that someone posted on here where I got the secondary shirt (replica I think) for like $16. Figured I couldn't pass it up.
This actually made me think though, and I just realized I don't have any jerseys for any other team or sport, and haven't since I was a kid. I also don't think I've personally bought myself any team merchandise for any other team. So on both accounts, I guess this club has achieved a special place in my heart, because I've never considered buying any merch for any one else. The caveat is that I get the sporadic Yankees, Jets and other stuff for christmas so I don't have to buy anything myself. Most of my family has no idea what NYCFC is so I don't get the random "hmmm I know he likes that teams I'll but this shirt that's on sale Macy's for him" gifts.

I admit I have very questionable priorities.
Has anyone ever bought a winter coat from the club? I’m thinking about getting one while they are on sale and I’m curious about the quality. I don’t want to drop $200 on something that won’t keep me warm. Just prepping for the schedule flip and this year’s March games. I don't know anything about the brand but the two key things in the specs that I find concerning are:
Insulation Material: PrimaLoft® Insulation
Water Proofing: DWR water resistant finish
DWR is a low cost breathable spray-on water proofing material, it works well when new but will degrade over time. The good news is that you can buy spray on DWR and refresh it over time. So DWR while not the best is fine.
IMO the bigger issue with the coat is the PrimaLoft® Insulation. This is also a low cost material. I'll steal a quote from one of the reddit backpacking gear forums as they describe the issues with it better than I can:
For that money you could buy a much nicer outdoor gear type coat and then find a way to put an NYCFC patch on it.
