Makes you wish Jimenez could have been signed to a 1game contract for tonight. More fight in him than Medina.

I'm not surprised Haak was left off this. I've got great hopes for him, but he hasn't played nearly enough minutes to earn a spot on the Homegrown team.Haak is healthy. I hope Bedoya and Stuver got latrine duty or something.
Incredible what this academy has done over the last two years. Went toe to toe with LA Galaxy and FC Dallas, know for producing the top American talent , and beat them both.
And the best 4 U-19 players we have had aren’t playing.
Haak and ScallyGio played last year. Sands played last year. Who am I missing that didn’t play?
Haak and Scally
Pretty sure he meant this year when talking about the 4 best U-19 guysThey both played last year. So the 2017/18 team had all those guys.
Oh yeah. It's interesting, most of that class was a top defensive team. We stopped the potent LA Galaxy offense, went 0-0 and then won in penalties.Pretty sure he meant this year when talking about the 4 best U-19 guys
Was discussing this year. Yes.
I think the talent is still in the back. Unfortunately. Would be nice the bring through some cheap attacking talent.

Yes, even MLB and NHL teams do it through their minor league affiliates, but for young adult players. Not sure about NBA development programs, but this is common for lower level sports.don't other teams in MLS do this? i know philly does this and i think RSL.
I thought this was going to get really dark for a moment there.I wonder if Claudio will host a kid. They have an open bedroom with Gio in Germany.
FC Dallas does this too, seems to work with their incredible academy. Chris Richards (CB now in Bayern academy) did it since his family is from Alabama/Mississippi.don't other teams in MLS do this? i know philly does this and i think RSL.
