It's been brought up a number of times to travel to a game together. The earlier we begin planning be easier it will be come schedule release next year to select a game.
I'm thinking narrowing it down to 2-4 venues before hand just in case the time of the game isn't easily doable by majority.

Anyone with good knowledge of how schedules are done know for a fact where we travel next year?

So far both Montreal games have been in July. That's my scientific take on scheduling!!

We should be able to get a huge group to New England! The great part about going there is free parking, open tailgating allowed and several bars and restaurants on site. Of course we can get a nice tailgate going as a group and hit a few bars while we're at it!
Montreal would be cool, but probably a bit more to ask for some people time/money/passport wise.
Philly does not interest me in any way, decent stadium but terrible location.
DCU pretty much same as Philly, but could be the last chance to see RFK stadium. It's a dump, but it's got a TON of soccer history.
RB is a given obviously so it doesn't count.
Toronto? Eh.

Off topic slightly, i'm very interested in going to our hex game at Azteca.

We'll be playing in LA next season. If it's a Saturday game how about a Forums West Coast trip?

With expansion it will be different yet again next year, but we should travel to every East team we hosted this year, and at least once to every team in the East. As for specifically when we won't know until early next year.

That's what I meant. If anyone would know which teams (aside from East) we'll be seeing (west coast obviously).

Would love to go to a west coast game. Make a trip out of it.

As I said, we should visit every West team we host this year. That means Vancouver, RSL, Colorado, Galaxy and Dallas.

Lets start out close. Maybe an organizer get some busses and people sign up...or i dont know..does the 3rd rail do that?

Yea I was focusing on the shorter trips because it would be cool to get a large group. The longer/more expensive the trip, the fewer people we can expect to go. I'd think NE, PHI, and MTL could get the biggest groups, with NE being my favorite for obvious reasons.
I would do ATL as I have an office down there.

My son and I caught a Galaxy vs Sounders game last year at Stub Hub. Nice stadium in college campus but again way out of downtown LA. BE a fun trip tho.

I was there too! Freaking hot. Stadium is far from downtown, but so is everything else of interest in LA and not too far from LAX.

Would be cool to see a game in a brand new ATL stadium. I could even drive up there.
We could plan 2 stops. A close one and then a far trip. The close one we could just get with TR for the bus.

I vote for Montreal and maybe New England. New England's easy but there's nothing at all in Foxboro other than the game. Also, it's a giant, empty football stadium and who wants that? It's close though, and easy. Montreal is a cool city and it's a lot more interesting stadium as it's soccer specific, although a little small. It's a lot more of a trip though as it's farther away and you need a passport. Still just a bus or train ride away though.

If we're just going to take a bus up for the game and come back on the same day than it doesn't matter at all which of the two we choose as far as fun things to do go, and New England's several hours closer than Montreal.

Too funny!! Hot as hell!!! Not thinking I wore a lime green shirt to game and not wanting to be seen as a Sounders fan I bought a Galaxy hat to wear during game. That being said its for sale cheap if anyone interested!!! LOL.!!!!!
