Metro North Train Information attached. Trains from GCS to the game below.

5:03 -> 5:21
5:37 -> 5:55
5:40 -> 6:00
6:00 -> 6:20
6:23 -> 6:41
6:46 -> 7:04
6:49 -> 7:09

Drinks are allowed on the train. Yellow carts with "bar car" signs will sell drinks at the head of the tracks. More extensive drink menus are available downstairs in the food hall.

Best ticket booth is on West side of the Main Hall near the tracks. This is about across from Track 30, I believe.

Food options appear to be best along Arthur Avenue, which is about a 15-20 minute walk to the stadium. I am considering pre-gaming at Bronx Beer Hall in the Arthur Avenue Market.

The other good option is to just go downstairs and pre-game at Grand Central. Lots of good food options, including a Shake Shack. There is a craft beer place in the NW corner.

roxfontaine, what is the Third Rail doing before this one?

Repeating from the other thread. I'm targeting the 6:46 from GCT getting to Fordham at 7:04. adam is on the same schedule. He says he'll be the guy in a suit with the hat from his avatar. I'll be in a light blue polo with black/orange NYCFC cap. Anyone is welcome to look for us. Maybe we can all sing "Hey Baby" on the platform to find each other.

The Onion's NY1 Special Report: Tonight's 5 hour shutdown, during the evening Rush Hour, of the Metro North Rail system was a result of two commuters being pushed onto the tracks as an oncoming train was arriving. Witnesses said they could be heard before the incident singing loudly and out of tune - the exact melody has not yet been confirmed.

Gotham Gator is correct about the best ticket booths - the one on West side of the Main Hall. It's opposite track 32. The ones by Hudson News are always crowded at rush hour.

Lasker's map is perfect if you are taking the train to Botanical Garden. That is one stop past Fordham Road if you are coming from GCT, just 2 minutes more in travel time. The advantage to taking the train to Fordham Road is the station is very close to a campus entrance. You go up the stairs and to your left and it's practically there. You will be doing more walking on campus though.

I know how to get to Grand Central. Aside from that, I have no idea about getting tickets, the trains, etc. Typical Manhattanite.

Me too. Lived here all my life and work by GC. But I'm a LI guy, never took the Metro North in my life. It'll be an experience. I hear their trains are much nicer and less crowded the the LIRR. Can't wait to see if it's true or just another example of the grass being greener.
