Official Nycfc Head Coaching Thread

Jason Kreis will be managing this club when we win our first MLS Cup!

Regardless of our results the rest of this year, he will not be fired during the offseason unless the big players revolt on him. From what little we can see, I have not seen any level of dissent coming from the players. It seems as though he has their respect, so he is going nowhere!
Now if we are in the same spot at this point next season (which i'm very confident we won't be) then his seat will be burning up, but after our deep playoff run this season, his job is safe!

Not sure what's crazier, NYCFC firing Kreis or USSF firing Jurgen.
Juergan has been on for about four years now and has little to show for it. The team has consistently underperformed under him. His results are worse than Bob Bradley and Bruce Arena. At a time when our talent pool is improving, so should the results of our national team.
It's not crazy to call for his job at this point.

Fire kreis and bring in who? Who's gonna work an instant miracle?

He did just lead US to wins away in Germany and Holland. Not exactly poor results. Sure yesterday was a disappointment but USSF isn't going to fire him over it.

C'mon, you can't rate wins in friendly's too highly. Bob Bradley got the sack at this same point last cycle, and that was after a loss to Mexico in the final after a key injury. Juergan's management of the team has been insane and the results prove it. His roster and lineup decisions are almost always questionable, at best. When you do that, you better have results to back you up. We have played two tournaments (World Cup and Gold Cup) that matter and both have been failures. (Don't try and tell me the World Cup was a success, we played arguably two decent games. one if we're being honest about the Ghana match)
What do we have to show after four years of Juergan? Nothing of substance and a perceived rocky relationship with MLS.
His "success" with Germany in the World Cup at home with a world class assistant is all he has on his resume. He was a disaster at Bayern, and has not lived up to expectations here. Let him go.

Mexico annihilated Bradley's team after a series of losses and poor performances.

Again don't confuse my comments with what I want to what I think will happen. USSF will not fire him.
