I'm going with my 5 year old, and decided on Section 129, row 16, on the aisle. I think you're good just about anywhere. The better question is where NOT to sit. I'd stay away from the supporters section, unless you want to teach your kids some new words, so that is the left field side. I'd always stay away from 223 and 224 because that's where the away supporters will sit.
Do you really think NYCFC would tell him how many tickets they've sold? And if they did, wouldn't he know to keep his mouth shut? I really hope its real information, but it seems a little far fetched.
I would love to see an updated map at this point.

I don't think the number was accurate, but I would not be surprised if it were. The league most likely shares information like this amongst the clubs so he would have access to it.
I think the Tim Lieweke comment about 24000 sold was based on 3000 ticket holders able too buy 8 tickets each and nothing more. Really boring windbag by the way
I got aisle seats and am now not sure of that choice. yes you get out quicker and don't need to make anyone move but the only real bonus is getting to give someone who makes you move the look of disgust and contempt; thats great if you never see them again but what if you have to give them that look week after week. is it better to be the guy who says "look this asshole is making me move again and give him a dirty look " or the guy who says " Watch im going to make this asshole at the end who always gives me a dirty look move again" Tough choices234 Row 18 is enforcing the whistle/stop of play rule for exiting seatsWe've got seats 14-19, just go the other way....

It's better to have aisle seats anyway. I'd rather get up 10 or so times to give your neighbors room than to have to do that awkward shuffle for every bathroom run, beer run, food run, kid dropped ketchup on their shirt and we have no napkins run, quick gotta get a scarf cuz the wife is chilly run, why do i need a goddamn scoop of ice cream in a yankee helmet run.
Any word on when they are going to open the seating selection tool for us to look at? IE when you go to purchase tickets its no longer a deposit you just get to pick your seat straight away. I really want to take a look around the stadium and see how many seats are gone/where they were chosen/whats left!
Some of the reasons I got back rows/end row seats is A) I stand most of the game B) easier to lean back now and again to let someone pass rather than do the full row "Excuse Me, Excuse Me" shuffle.
There is one obvious solution to this row exiting dilemma.

I picked out my seats but the sales rep said he would process the seats for me after I told him which one. I was charged for the right price and everything but never got a confirmation email and on the account manager it just says manage my tickets but doesn't specify the seats so now I'm starting to doubt if I got them or not. I hope I got 135 row 12 seats 9-12 like I wanted!
Click on "pay now" in account manager. Then on the left side you should see "view invoice details". You should see your seats there.
I'm in section 136 just want to throw this out there and see how many people respond from where they at lol
I just wanted to point out that the Tweet itself states that over 10,000 people have selected their seats so far.
Another note is that the photo says "choose your seats now" which I would assume means that the seat selection windows are over and once you sign up, you get to select. So if anyone on here plans to buy your tickets soon, please hook us up with up-to-date screen shots!!
