jansen seems to want to get some people more and more minutes to build them up to a full 90. guess he wasn't willing to take maxi off for whatever reason. no options to let someone else play there? too bad carrizo isn't around, he could slot right in there.

Not bad, got business done against a side that’s practically a pickup team at this point. And Maxi didn’t get injured. No howlers though. Except maybe Romero getting lucky there. Not far off of a red.

My gut is that if Pascal is a) seeing how much stamina Maxi has and b) wants the new guys to understand how the leader runs things.

Santi being a scratch for two straight games makes me think these transfer rumors have some validity to them. Even so, we have enough attacking talent to survive that departure, we just can't any major injuries. Our XI is still very good, it's our depth that hurts at the moment.

Logical. I'm sure there's an assessment of recovery time, too. Pascal will not only want to know how long he can go with Maxi, but how often.

eh we still don't know. he was "injured" for the first game. glenn said no details were shared for any of the other "injuries" except for martins who still has the same calf injury.

Jansen wants to get all the attackers to practice playing in a functional offense. The only way we have a functioning offense is with Maxi on the pitch.
