There was some Western comedy from when I was a kid (I don't remember the title) with a cross-eyed gunslinger. Every time he misses one like that, it's the first thing to pop into my mind.Bakrar in mid-season form
He got beat over the top twice, and easily. A couple other times he was out of position. He looked somewhat ready to contribute to the attack, although he's a bit raw there, too.Prince was not good at soccer
I will say I am being a bit harsh on him, but I had hoped for a little better from an academy kid. BUT I will say there was a ton of ball movement in and around STL low block that I was very impressed by. I’m going to butcher his last name but all of the youngins did well especially Beiara. There was a lot of solid movement and more chances. Better than many low block break throughs than our first team last year. Max Murray was very good in the back as well.He got beat over the top twice, and easily. A couple other times he was out of position. Definitely he's going to have to get his head on a swivel, though. Gotta look around, man.
Interesting to see Julian take all the corners. And from either side.
Max Murray impressed that half. Those were a couple great interventions, and he was a rock in the middle of the park.
I'd like to see more ambition from Trapito, more willingness to take defenders on and try and beat them, or at least move them around.
I like Baiera. He was really good with the Deuce.I will say I am being a bit harsh on him, but I had hoped for a little better from an academy kid. bit concerning that we don't have a clear cut starting XI. still a mishmash of players. I know it's preseason, but there's gotta be some benefit to playing your starting XI together for at least a half, right?
I think we (mostly) saw it the first Coachella game. My guess is that you'll see a full dress rehearsal-like game on Saturday. I would think they'll put those players on schedule by playing 7 days before the opener.

If Santi is gone, it will be interesting to see if Ojeda takes that LW spot or if Martinez plays there and Bakrar starts.
