They put the bag up for Shannon. Looking forward to seeing him develop.
Good for him. And not surprising since SA has taken a loan player from another MLS team, but not us.

Apparently the Riverhounds needed some help in the back desperately due to injuries. Great for Shannon to get some playing time and get himself fully fit. Hopefully he can help the team get up the table. It's a tight race right now in their conference so a few wins can vault them.
lower leagues don't got that sweet sweet TV money, so they gotta monetize anyway they can. On the bright side, I've heard Chevy Star and Maytag Powerwash have been a deadly one two combo this season.
This reminds be of an incident back in the 70s when TBS was a fledgling Superstation and baseball was far from the well-oiled cash machine it is today. TBS was Channel 17 locally and they tried to be 17 on as many systems as possible nationwide. The Braves, who were terrible, signed Andy Messersmith as a free agent. Ted Turner announced that Braves players would start wearing their nickname on the back of heir jerseys instead of their last names. And suddenly Messersmith was nicknamed "Channel" and given the number 17. I think he wore it maybe one game before MLB made him stop.
That's just peak Ted Turner. There was nothing quite like it back in the day.
