I'd say NO . . . because kids will always try to get fake ID's.

If you lower the drinking age to 18, you'll get much younger kids trying to get fake ID's (and much younger kids getting drunk at home or with their friends since they'll hear more and more kids just a few years older than them getting drunk at bars).

Do you REALLY want to go to a bar with mall rat 18 year olds acting like idiots?

I say keep drinking age at 21, but raise driver's license age and age to serve in military to 21.

Just as an aside prior to ww1 the age that you drank at in the uk was determined by the publican,a minimum drinking age was introduced by the government to stop people going back work in munitions factories pissed.Fair shout really.

It's 18 here in the UK & we have loads of issues.
It's 16 in Germany & there's very little trouble.
