I haven't yet taken the survey, but I find this focus a bit interesting.
One of the supposed benefits of our location in Queens is to access the grass roots love of soccer that exists there. This is from a largely immigrant community that would support their neighborhood team. These are not the people who are going to shell out $40K for a corporate box or $200/game for sideline seats. These are the people who will buy inexpensive tickets, show up in large numbers, and spend on food, drink and merchandise. That suggests more seats and fewer premium experiences.
That was one of my thoughts -- we're not watching Pat Mahomes and Saquon Barkley here. For the majority of the games, the biggest names on the field will be players like Walker Zimmerman, Jesus Fereira, or Thiago Almada. If people want an expensive/fancy night out they'll do a dinner in the city or an NFL game, not an MLS game in Willets Point.
