I think part of that was we just saw Portland a few days ago. It did seem like it took the fans a while to fill in, which was a surprise to me, and it never got really loud, but that could do with the broadcast/where they had mics.

Is one end void of seating? That was the impression I got, and if so would hurt sound reverberating inside.
Good point. The stadium isn't enclosed. I would imagine that affects sound.

Hey, it'd be great, and all, but in the middle of New York City the chances of that happening are incredibly small.

I'm as gung ho about this team as anyone else - but I don't know how much more I can take of soccer at Yankee Stadium. It's starting to wear on me.
