NYCFC should just replace one of the old piers on the west side. or maybe a pier in brooklyn. it cant be hard to make a pier, the city has 100+
Hahahahaha.

re@danger I was at the Penn State/Boston College bowl game and it was amazing. It was also in the 50s in December which made it quite incredible. Yankee Stadium people say you really need the first two tiers to be filled to get the effect of being at Yankee Stadium and also have it look good on tv. They're putting NYCFC Tarp behind home plate since those sections aren't being used. They really should do that in the upper tiers as well and maybe some of the sections in the 2nd tier that are empty.
is that where the stadium would go?
It's that parking garage in the background.I doubt that they would build in place of those public fields. During the summer they're always packed with little league teams playing. I wouldn't want NYCFC to take that away from the community.

It wasn't de Blasio who stopped the stadium it was the guy who owns the other building that was needed to build that stadium.Oh, well f*ck that parking garage. Let's build a stadium and we would have gotten away with it too if it weren't for you meddling de Blasio.
deblasio didnt really stop, but he didnt really help eitherIt wasn't de Blasio who stopped the stadium it was the guy who owns the other building that was needed to build that stadium.
Yeah and he isn't going to. The team is going to have to pay for everything they want.de

This needs to be corrected it was the owner of the manufacturing company not the mayor who tucked up the plan. It's a big parking lot. But I think the plan was to take over the parking lot and a manufacturing company (elevator)
Meddling de Blasio..... otherwise we would just be waiting for opening of new stadium.
A bit worried but to be honest I'm more worried where and when we are going to build our home training center/ academyAm I the only one who is starting to worry that the we haven't heard a peep about a stadium besides the same generic "we're looking for the right place to build a stadium it's gonna take some time" message we've been hearing for the past 2 years?
Westchester?A bit worried but to be honest I'm more worried where and when we are going to build our home training center/ academy
It's most likely nothing.Tomorrow is de Blasio's State of the City. A MLS soccer ball is spotted in his office:
It could be nothing.
