Tomorrow is de Blasio's State of the City. A MLS soccer ball is spotted in his office:
It could be nothing.
He's talking about affordable housing. There goes any hope of a stadium under this mayor. #notmymayor

Not to get political but this city needed affordable housing more than a new stadium, that being said if cfg coughs up the money it can still happen at pier 40 or in the BronxHe's talking about affordable housing. There goes any hope of a stadium under this mayor. #notmymayor
maybe deal with NYCFC to create affordable housing and a stadium in norhtern bronx. like in manchesterHe's talking about affordable housing. There goes any hope of a stadium under this mayor. #notmymayor

Pier 40 is the dream, nothing better than a Manhattan stadium.Pier 40 would be VERY expensive I heard $200mil just to make it safe to start building. But it certainly would be an amazing venue.

KindaDefinitely a World Cup ball, but still an odd thing to have in your office. Is he a soccer fan?
Dude don't bring your politics in here please, leave it at the door.I fucking hate DeBlasio and the mention of his name makes me physically sick.
Political official so unless he approves the stadium or is at a games no need to ever bring him or any political official on this forum. BTW lets just get this out the way, that won't happen for a stadium to happen in New York it will have to be Privately funded. For the most part the Mayor will not play a big role unless it's to help them find a spot for the stadium.I dislike him because he eats pizza with a knife and fork. See, not even political![]()
