to be honest they should replace the baseball fields next to the Yankees with the new soccer stadium. better for the fans.

They will definitely not do that. Those fields were part of the agreement for the Yankees to get a new stadium.

Not only that but that is where the original Yankee Stadium was located. That area will never be built on.

Can't imagine there are too many people out there who didn't think it wasn't going to be Yankee Stadium all along.

I wouldn't be the least surprised if more than a game or two spill over into Citi Field and since I'm easy that wouldn't bother me in the least.

Considering how they vetoed the Flushing Meadows plan, I don't think they'd agree to host a game if they had a gun to their heads.

Just because they vetoed the construction of a competing stadium doesn't mean they'd be against hosting games that would make their stadium some money.

I'm excited about it being at Yankee stadium. Its a world class stadium. Sure some seats will be horrible but its only for a couple years. It'll add history to the club.

sorry, i dont think ANYONE here wants the stadium in yonkers. im sure its a nice place but it dont have that "NY" feel to it. Your a POLLITITION not a fan. you want the revenue as you said, not the expirence. and please dont think you're gonna get election support from here, because your not. #sorrynotsorry
