Did anyone listen to Bloomberg Business of Sports interview with Randy Levine. Around the 26:00 minute, they asked Levine about an update on the NYCFC stadium. Nothing enlighening came from it, he basically gives the company line about that the team is still looking around and that there are sites that are intriguing. Nothing to report about a deal and maybe something in the next several months will come into focus. At least the media is even asking the Yankees about it. As it seems it impossible for the media to get NYCFC to speak on the overall program.

Lol, nope.

It was also mentioned that there are two very strong locations and a potential third. Oh, and said person had to leave shortly after discussing this in order to meet BdB for dinner supposedly.

I can't tell if you're serious. We've been hearing the same things for over a year now that they're down to 2 or 3 locations. If this is a recent conversation you had with someone in the organization or a local politician then we're still in the same place we were a year ago.

I am being serious, and you do have reasons to question that for me (I've never been in any kind of position to pass along info before).

And agreed that it is nothing completely new.

There is no basis to determine whether we are in the same place we were a year ago. I am by no means an apologist for the club, but the only thing that we can definitively say is that we have not been told that the team has a deal in place for a stadium. With that, we are in the same place. But we have no idea how far any negotiations have progressed (or stalled) on any location, because it would make no sense to share a play by play with the public. And in some respects, they likely are precluded from sharing certain information with the public, and in other respects there are strategic reasons why they wouldn't want to publicize progress or information. I am not invalidating anyone's feelings of frustration - I am with you. But we have no idea where they are at, far or far from - and there is no reason why we should expect to know that.

This is going way over my head.

I think he meant Calvin Klein. It’s written in his underwear.
