Pretty sure I did that one once, although after 724 pages of this I can't really be certain any more, ya know?I need a Venn diagram of these rules, incorporating a hedgehog, Frank Lampard's head, Frank Lampard jogging, and an RBA overlay.

I am not sure if this was previously posted, but I came across this article. If the Willets Point site is a viable option, it appears that the City would need to first exercise a call option to take back the 17 acres that is currently under the control Queens Development Group. The deadline to do so is Dec 31, 2018. I don't think the QDG, a joint venture between the Related Companies and the Mets-controlled Sterling Equities will do a deal with NYCFC. As the Mets would prefer the parking for Delta Air as according to the Crain's article on or around September 15, stated that they Mets and Delta have an agreement to use Citi Field Parking, but if there parking across the street, then Delta would prefer to use that.

I am sorry. Now that you pointed that out you are correct. I was reading 1B as the 17 acres and not the 2. Thanks for pointing it out. This article is contemplating just a 2-acre sliver of Willets Point though, no? Not all 17 acres in Willets East.
it will get done. I recall seeing an article on the MLS website a month back or so saying they only plan to be in their temporary stadium for a year or two. Don't forget with MCFC and the Yankees that = $$$$$$$$$$ and with that anything can get done in NYC. Once they seal the deal I expect they will build pretty quickly. Hell, they built yankee stadium in like 9 months or something like that I think.
4.5 year old post.Source?
I'm thinking that was the point.4.5 year old post.
We get to keep our baseball stadium and pay a huge mark up for playoff tickets. And another club passes us by.
I'm not disagreeing with you, but let's wait a bit to see where this ends up. We all remember the initial Audi Field renderings and where it landed in the end (which obviously, I'd take over a baseball stadium - just wanted to point out that as great as this looks now, it probably won't be quite as sexy). And another club passes us by.

We brought in Pep G's right hand man, and it definitely wasn't as sexy as we had been led to believe.A proud sponsor of New York City Football Club!

I would support Queensborough. Drop my NYC STs. Still root for NYC in MLS. But H2H, I’d be all Queens with a hope for eventual promotion.
