I wouldn't go to any stadium that wasn't easily public transit accessible. I'd just watch from home. Empire casino would be just that smidge too far to make it worth the effort for me on a regular basis and especially as a STH.

I'll wait for a stadium within the city. i don't mind going to YS and Citi. I don't love it, but it is what it is for now. At some point, I think CFG will just super flex and get something built. Even if they have to buy out an entire community and politicians to do it. lol.

I mean, it's not super convenient but the Mount Vernon West MTA stop is about a mile away from the entrance to the parking lot for the casino. The 2 line 241st St stop is about 2 miles away. Both are not ideal, but bouncing between stadiums ain't any better. Maybe the club could offer shuttle service of some sort. IDK... This club needs a change big time.

That’s a tough walk though

Yankee.Elimination.Day

The day that brings joy to all Mets, Sox and NYCFC fans.
Oh haha!
Despite being a fellow former Revs supporter and a New Englander, im actually a life-long Yankee fan.

I started following the Revs in 96 because it was new and they were the home-team and no family allegiance legacy to a NYC team. I gradually stop following the Revs in the late aughts but had a build in hatred for Jersey. Finally when NYCFC came along it made sense and it was natural to get on-board.

While baseball is a distant second to Soccer for me, last night was difficult enough for me to be neutral on the loss. Especially since they weren't going anywhere if they won.

This also means no citi field this year. which is great
Hard disagree. They have actual good food at Citi Field. One Polar Burger™ and you’ll never want to go to Yankee Stadium again.

And furthermore, ever since Carl’s Steaks closed the team’s been terrible. I rest my case.

Wasn't a big fan of the games at citi personally, as food is not really a thing for me.

You and me both on on first year Revs. I had season tix until I moved back to NY in 2000. But they lost me for good when they stopped supporting Nicol by failing to replace Dempsey and giving away Larentowicz for a bag of balls. And no stadium. Yankee Stadium > Gillette.

Lifetime Mets fan. Stopped being a Yankee fan when they fired Dick Howser. Started following the Sox when I lived in Boston and because I gained a lot of respect for them in the 86 series, which shouldn't have even been close. I've almost completely stopped watching baseball as the pace of the game has ground to a halt. But I watch when Sox or Mets are in the playoffs. And last night my three allegiances were in alignment. The only way I could hate the Yankees more would be if they changed their name to Red Bulls.

I've been enjoying the handwringing and recriminations among Yankee fans this morning, though bringing it back to soccer, they sound awfully familiar to what I see from a lot of entitled City fans who seem to think we should win it all every year or sack the whole team/management/FO. Yankee fans don't ever have to experience what bad is, and since 2015, neither have City fans.

Mighty Quinns is the best ballpark food I have ever had. Anywhere.
