I was told there would be an announcement yesterday
We were all told there would be a big announcement on the 23rd... and there was. "TFC UPSETS #1 SEED NYCFC"

They are going to wait until Halloween. And they are going to change players' names slightly to Halloween references. And they are going to announce that we are going to be forced to reenter last night's House of Horrors for several games next season.

Goes over how we were displaced and it is annoying fans. Says that the Club is trying to partner with Maddd Equities LLC and Joy Construction Corp. on a project that includes a stadium and 3,000 units of affordable housing. Mentions that the parking garages are a sticking point (REALLY?). Also mentions that the local BID is releasing the results of a survey today (the results are mentioned a few posts up).
So, no major revelations, but another example of what we've been hearing on the GAL site.

so more of the same. rumblings of things being worked on but no real progress or milestone reached. sigh. you'd think if CFG were serious they could flash the cash, buy a full block of manhattan, demo and build a stadium. done and done.

Based on the timeline of that, I don't think there will be an announcement this year. The club is just silence and lies.

The individual that I knew was interviewed for this didn't make it in there as well.
....so does anyone have any input as to where the new info from BID puts the stadium process? Between what the community can do and what the Club can do, I imagine they're moving at different speeds, including evaluating impact reports, etc...
