I hope they are splitting the season as a test for Willets point!!!

I am living in Stamford CT at the moment and I don't have a desire to schlep over to YS or CF, but I will make a point to sell my bronx games and "attend" the queens games even if all I do is check in at the turnstiles for the less desirable games then go visit family/friends...... trying to send a message to build the stadium in queens..... LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Love this, but sadly everything keeps pointing to the club having blinders on for the Bronx and this is just a fix till it happens.

potentially reduce the mid week games to 2? doesnt seem too bad, maybe additional CCL games to bring the games number up.

Also help us avoid the international calendar as best we can, like the rest of the teams in the league. Which is extra important to us, since I feel like we lead the league in players who get called regularly to their NTs.

If you factor in CCL matches, we have to find another weekend home. The CCCL matches are on weekdays. Eliminates how many weekday possibilities for us?

we're up there, but don't think we lead the league. top of my head, i would guess that would be seattle. though we are making a run for the lead with rocha and mitri getting called up now. getting less games during international breaks would be fantastic. but we've shown we have the depth to cope.

cope, but not play our best. I feel we left a ton of points out there playing B/C lineups due to INT callups this season.

oh i agree. i don't think it's good to play during international break so if we can avoid that as much as possible, that'd be best.

You probably forgot to include Ben Sweat, which is understandable, but he upps our number by one more.

And in more seriousness, are you including our youth team call ups? We can lose all three and that depletes the bench to where we carry 4 GK’s for a match.

seattle has 8 players called up this past break. We could definitely exceed that number if all the players who can potentially be called up, actually do. but on a more consistent basis, we've only had 5 or 6 players called up. Mitri has not been consistently called, though that will probably change if he keeps up his form. Rocha has just started getting called up and could become a regular thing. After that, we have Taty, Haak, Sands. Not counting Parks and Ofori here cause there's no guarantee they'll be with us next season.

Johnson
Callens
Chanot
Mata
Mitri
Taty
Isi
Haak
Sands
Scally
Rocha
Medina.... er, um, uh, sorry that’s not happening

So 11, and 12 if Sweat ever is called back (highly highly doubtful, but there will be scrub games after the USMNT doesn’t qualify for the WCinHELL)

Seems likely that CCL was the last straw. This should provide some much-needed flexibility in scheduling. I like it

we have mls, ccl, us open cup ( though that seems to be belson for now at least early rounds) to be a part of.

Still a weird thing to annouce at a match, unless it's part of an actual stadium announcement.

Hey, here's two sentences about a new thing that a significant portion of the fanbase will dislike, and everyone will have questions about. Enjoy the game!

Weird thing to announce for sure, unless, as you said, it's an actual stadium announcement.

Splitting the 2020 season between YS and Citi is really not the kind of announcement for a big game. I'd save it for an email blast and website announcement.
