The Jason Kreis Appreciation Thread

How many expansion teams have you all coached?

Relax, we have help on the way. We're finally getting our player Frank Lampard back in about another month. We'll make some other big DP signing that will take pressure off Mix and Villa. We'll probably make a few more signings. We'll be alright.

Let me also remind people 2 years ago DC United won 3 games all season. A record setting disaster. Many were screaming for their manager, Ben Olsen, to be fired.

They almost fired him but decided against it, they miraculously won the US Open cup that year. They finished #1 in the East last year and are comfortably #1 again this season in the East. But, boy, did a lot of DC fans want to fire their manager that year.

I don't care what anyone says, THIS is the most competitive league on Earth. Give him some time, he'll get it done.

did you guys know that Kreis was the first MLS player to hit 100 goals?

MORE YOU KNOW.....

Yup, I knew that. Relevance to his coaching ability and the discussion taking place in this thread? Oh I get it, you're saying Kreis should sign himself. If that happened he'd probably line himself up at LB though.

The best one-liners are the ones you never see coming but are inevitable in retrospect.

I was going for appreciation of Kreis. You know, the title of this thread.

Mike Petke bleeds NY. If anyone is to replace Jason it would be him. Mike's record is really good the last 2 seasons. Plus the rivalry between Red Bulls and NYCFC would be 10 fold.

I like Jason as a coach. I hope he can pull it around.

I did see Petke last year show flashes of a two year novice head coach. There was a time closer to the end of the season he shifted the formation to help pull the Red Bulls back into the playoff hunt. The mouth of September of 2014 was really bad for NYRBs they fell below the line.

You have these boys refusing to lose, Jason.

You will prove the haters wrong. :D

Kreis just needs to realize that he actually has a solid MLS XI in the one that was on the field in the second-half. That was our best performance to date imo, things just didn't go our way.
