Tomorrows Game.

Hi All,

I'm a Manchester City supporter over from Manchester for the game tomorrow. I wondered where is the best place to meet for pre-game drinks!

Thanks Laszlo
Laszlo,

Go over to River Avenue, along the side of Yankee Stadium. You'll find a few bars in the area.

This link is a good list of nearby bars: http://nycfcforums.com/index.php?th...o-the-orlando-game-26th-july.3127/#post-78241

(I've had drinks at all of those, and while I think the pre/post-game scene around the Stadium is generally fun everywhere, The Dugout is definitely my favorite one!)

Hi Lion, a Frank is Awesome, is he playing tomorrow? I was hoping to catch his debut. How is Angelino performing?

No, Lampard's been injured ever since he started training with NYCFC. He's only supposed to have a mild calf strain, but this will be the third game he's failed to make fitness for now, along with all the ones he missed while in England, hence why a lot of people on here are commenting that they don't believe he ever will actually take the field.

Angelino is dope. A great 45 minutes in his opening game. Not so stellar 70 minutes in his last, but the team wasn't clicking. He should be starting tomorrow.

Thanks Jordan!
No problem!

One thing about Frank... Nobody here will say he isn't a great player, but you have to understand our cynicism about him, considering how our respective favorite clubs' owners did a "bait and switch" with what was portrayed as Lamps signing with NYCFC.

We will be disappointed to be missing out on Lamps (yet) again, but before the game, you'll see NYCFC fans having drinks, enjoying the summer, and getting ready to have a little fun on a Sunday. The atmosphere surrounding the stadium on match day is mostly positive (despite our team's uneven form) and you can expect to see our fans in good spirits as we "prepare" for kickoff tomorrow. ;)
