Passed our overwhelming content and adoration for Mix along to him. Also added that his headers this year have been on fire. The Revjakjiv one and now the nearly goal against Toronto. Him being more central is helping him get in the box.
Those headers have been great. Plus, he won the jump ball that led to Villa's second goal this week. He's been much better in the box than I expected.

I'm a little late to this but the look on Khiry's face after he missed and Villa yelled at him was brutal. I'd rather see him talk back like this:

And to be fair to Lopez, the cross came in extremely fast. The play wasn't similar but it reminded me of Brovsky's missed header in one of the games we were chasing last year.

Perfect example. Two young players letting their emotions get the better of them. But notice Messi never does that any more. You never see him chewing out a young player on the pitch these days. He matured. Villa never got past that. He hasn't learned when and how to best use his emotion.

Ugh, why did you have to remind me of that Brovsky missed header. I can't remember exactly which game that was, but the goal was extremely wide open, and I remember we desperately needed those points.

These guys are getting on the job training from one of the best scorers to ever live. If they can't see it as a lesson and get sad instead, they are missing out on the best learning they will ever get and they are babies. If David Villa tells you you should have passed, you put that in your memory bank and you do it next time, because he knows more about scoring than you ever will.

Maybe you don;t yell at someone in your rec soccer league, but once you are accepting a paycheck to play you get over emotional boo boos and you learn to get better or you will be out of the league.

vs Houston, end of May. Game ended 1-1 and Brovsky actually missed two really good chances at the end

There usually isn't any cause to chew out anyone on Barcelona - they are playing arguably the most beautiful football in the history of the game - but point taken. Villa can be a bit extra; however, this season I have seen him be the first person to celebrate other's goals. He was T-Mac's biggest cheerleader after his goal against CHI - remember his reaction last year when T-Mac would event think about shooting. Vieira is doing wonders making this team a family.

Agree. You might not remember, but I was the person on the forums last year saying one of my biggest concerns with the team was that there were never more than 3 or 4 players in any goal celebration. They just didn't care enough to run over for one another. This year you've seen the whole team together for celebrations. I love it. Go PV!!
