USMNT Talk

Got my tickets to the USA v Turkey game at RBA via the VISA Pre-sale

Awesome, I am going with a group of 4. It is really a lot of fun, been in SS in DC for Germany friendly and in Columbus for Mexico WCQ. Great atmosphere.

I'm really pumped up. My soccer fandom has been a slow long process since 2002 when I stayed up every night to watch the matches in Asia, and then 2009 when I joined AO, and 2010 when I tried and failed to start AO Westchester.

Now in 2014, someone finally got it off the ground, it's prospering, and I'm just happy to have all you guys and those guys as friends to talk and enjoy soccer with because all the "bros" that I'm friends with refuse to be diehards with me.

Where is the standing section for AO? I have tickets behind goal in section 118.
I have tickets from AO in section 101, so I am assuming that we probably filled that endline and maybe some of the corner/sideline as well

Edit: According to Twitter it is the South Lower Endline, so looks like just 101, 102 and 133

I'm rockin section 122 row 4 (Not AO). Got 6 seats. Takin' the bus from Legends with a bunch of friends. Cannot wait till sunday.

Let's hope those behind me don't get offended when I refuse to sit.

Just got back from RBA. The atmosphere was unbelievable and I thought the team played very well. Good win against a pretty good Turkey side.

We were on the opposite side of the American Outlaws! Great game. I saw a lot of positives. How big was the pop for Julian Green? Amazing amtosphere! The ref (as always) sucked.

American soccer at it's best. Great (brand new) stadium with a quality product.

I wonder if the World Cup came back if any of the games would be played in the new soccer specific stadiums - even games at Columbus and Portland would be great.

Nah but I always wonder if part of our 2026 World Cup bid will be to build some big, new modern stadiums for a few of our clubs.

Though it would sadden me because if we use all NFL stadiums we could set an attendance record that would stand for a long, long, long time.

This was my second national team game. The first was last years Gold Cup group stage against Costa Rica. This was my first visit to RBA and I gotta say I like the setup of that stadium a lot. The atmosphere was incredible and there was a lot to cheer about

Lucky goal there for the USA. So far, impressed with Gyau and Fabian on the right wing, Chandler doing well to be involved down the left.

Aside from the goal the midfield trio of Mix, Bedoya, and Corona (especially Corona) has not looked good.

Not much discussion here about the US friendly? Fabian is our best player by far, need 10 more like him. I'm ready to give up on Jozy, everyone likes his potential, but JK needs to really start giving more time to potential replacements, and see who can shine. Seeing the drive of a Joe Gyau, while lacking a finishing sheen, was refreshing. Hope to see more of Mix, maybe paired with Bradley in a diamond? Brooks looks like a stud in the making too. I hope the Ecuador game features some Europe guys too, I would be disappointed with an MLS only team over here.
