I do want consistency. Maybe you don’t want a clearly articulated policy now, but I do. While the proudly boys are the impetus for this debate, now is a perfectly good time for the club to set down the rules for everybody, period.

I agree with this and appreciate your clarity that you do want to rid YS of violent and hateful elements. But a policy takes time and time leads to derailment. I'm advocating for a banning on the specific people discussed because it is expedient. If we wait for a fully detailed policy before taking the first action, we could wait forever.

the supporters groups have quite a lot of responsibility in this as well.
