White Supremacists In Supporter Section

Im not a member but im friends with/know people in SC and Templados. I dont know what knuckle draggers is. Why whats up?
Knuckle draggers is likely in reference to the guys that were part of those groups and proud boys and were arrested.
Let’s say you were part of those groups or you know people in those groups, what’s your thought on the article?
You have one of the nations largest news outlets publicly condemning and identifying people you affiliate with, what do you do?

If I have a close friend in one of those groups and I see this I’m calling/texting them and urging them to remove themselves entirely.
If you recall the Sean king publicity it wasnt long before a list came out with names.

So what did I read. There's a couple people involved in some pro-white groups and there's a pro-white Spanish group? Unless they are inciting violence and verbally attacking other fans, so what. If they are, it should be dealt with. Seems like a typical Huff Post opinion piece. I haven't seen anything first hand. In Europe there's been a surge in facist groups that are against immigration and the changing of their culture. It has definitely weaved it's way into many supporters groups. It's become more of a rally cry than violence though. I can't see some NYCFC fans being legit like that tbh. YS is quiet for most of the game.

I trust some here can give an unbiased opinion, some can't. That being said, has anyone here had a real first hand account with a group?

I get that he's the Commissioner and being apolitical like Goodell would do in a similar situation, but as someone who is Jewish and donates to UJA, how can Garber say with a straight face that there isn't intimidation in a stadium atmosphere or section where known individuals who are linked to hate groups are able to attend.

Just because you may feel intimidated doesn’t mean they are intimidating you.

Lol what does you being Jewish have to do with anything? Explain to me what intimidates you. Have you been threatened? Beaten? Segregated? Charged extra at the concession stands (being Jewish myself this would be the greatest form of intimidation). I don’t understand

Can we just point out that what you might find not intimidating, others might find intimidating? Don't challenge people on what they find intimidating because you don't find it so. We all have different pressure points.

I know that if I was in the same room as a white supremacist, I'd be extremely intimidated without them doing anything personally to me, and I'd be looking for any way to extract myself from the situation. I don't sit in the bleachers, but if I did and saw one of these guys I would not be happy in the least. Knowing there's even a chance a white supremacist might be in the bleachers lessens my desire to ever be in that section.

That’s what you’re feeling not what they’re doing. They can’t and shouldn’t remove people simply because you feel uncomfortable.

Edit: also can we stop calling them white supremacists, they aren’t even white, they’re members of an alt right group.

I understand the problem the team has here. They can't do anything about which fans buy tickets. What I'd like the team to do is revoke supporters group privileges from these people and any organization that harbors them. They are free to attend, but they shouldn't be getting any special fan privileges. It's an impossible place for them to be in because they're going to end up pissing off everyone. Whatever they do won't be enough because legally they can't do anything unless these people do something inside the stadium.

You're right let's not use the word white supremacist. Let's use the word Nazi that way I can save some letters and give less of my brainpower to these fucks.

You want one example of action? We can go back to the puto chant.

Before anyone says that puto isn't a white supremecist thing, it's a bigoted and intimidating action. Some people yell it with no real understanding or care for the bigoted aspect of it. But as someone who sits near the SS, I have to ask myself, before I ask someone to stop screaming that, just how fucked up is the person I'm about to get involved with here.

I guess I'd be much more willing to give the club the benefit of the doubt on their limited abilities to take actions against people for their political beliefs if I saw them taking actions against people for their actions in regard to the puto chant.

That said, I've never sat in the SS and don't know what other behaviors go on up there.
