Pretty much exactly how I feel
Especially since it's at the Bernabeu, and Villa has played for Real's two biggest rivals. Those villa chants were awesome
Sounds weird to have two national teamsI don’t know if I can handle both my national teams losing back to back
the guy is god awful if you've actually watched him play. inside the box hes excellent, but useless for 89 minutes. What is it with the Italians on this forum and hating Icardi. He's one of the best poachers in the world. Is he that bad for Argentina?
Are you trying to say he's a poacher?the guy is god awful if you've actually watched him play. inside the box hes excellent, but useless for 89 minutes.
A lot of people hate him because he took his argentine team mates girl.

Serie A is the most overrated by its own fans league in the world. It's unquestionable. The only shits who can suffer watching are the people whose granddaddies told them it was a good league because it hasn't been an actual top league for the last 2 decades.Based on what I've seen of Giovinco, I think its absurd he hasn't been called up. But on the other hand, I won't pretend like I know Serie A all that well, so I can't jump 100% into that.
But, I absolutely disagree that its hard to make an argument to not have Giovinco on there. Sure, maybe he doesn't make it. But not able to make an argument for it???? Thats quite a stretch.
Again, I don't know Serie A all that well, but what I do know is two of their attacking players called up have barely seen time this year. Pellegrini has all of 6' in 2 matches and Bernardeschi has 18' in 2 matches.
But to further Gotham Gator point, Ventura isn't selecting Giovinco, not because of his performances or skill, but because he is playing in MLS...
Giampiero Ventura believes "he plays in a league that doesn't count for much."

He doesn't. He's an Italy fan.Sounds weird to have two national teams
In fairness to the people who hate him, well, I can't think of anyone who doesn't hate him, so who cares. But he is a total piece of shit.Im an inter fan and I think Icardi is great.

As for Italy, they were embarrassing. Playoffs for them, but Ventura isn't a good coach and theyll probably struggle to get through that stage as well.

Great player. No doubt. But utterly horrible human being, on a level rarely seen by an athlete. He makes Harkes seem like a good guy.

Those of who have reason to be objective turn it off whenever we "give it another chance". Because it's always the same bullshit. Most boring damn thing I've ever seen in my life.
And in fairness to you, you're the best Serie A fan I've ever come across.Italians by and large will not do anything more than they have to, that's why Serie A is so tactical. Boring to most, but Italians don't really care.
As a long life Inter fan, its very frustrating to see the way Serie A is run though.
I can understand that given how Brazil struggled in the last World Cup, Copa America and Copa American Centenario. But they were the first team to earn qualification. (I'm not counting Russia since they automatically qualified as host nation.)I actually had someone else tell me that (re: Brazil) at this bar. But I was adamant that he was wrong.
