World Cup Qualifying - 2018 Russia

I put a guy on Ignore because I thought his first post was obnoxious. I usually Like first posts even if they're a bit naive, ignorant or redundant because I like to welcome newbies. But this first post was passive-aggressive obnoxious. So I put him on Ignore and I explained why. I was then asked 2 more times to explain why. I explained 2 more times, even though I thought I was pretty clear. I'm actually having a good day, but admit I got a bit salty. But I maintain the guy deserved it. And I appreciate the criticism laced with support (or is it the other way around). Cheers.
I'm not sure how asking an "honest question" is a passive aggressive obnoxious comment. It was a simple question because I would have liked to known the knowledge of the person before I insulted their intelligence. I'm also not sure why me joining a long time ago and not being active is a big deal. I'm making a conscious effort to be more active in the forum community and the way you jumped down my throat was uncalled for. In the end, I'm a big boy though and I can handle myself regardless of how you're going to behave. Maybe you should get to know me first before you act like that if you can't control your emotions.

In any case, let's get back to talking about World Cup matches.
I have a feeling you guys are going to end up friends

I listen to him every morning on Siriusxm (The Football Show.) He is always on point.
I've never listened to that show, but heard him call a few games, usually El Clasico. He really puts the term "color" into "color commentary". The man is brilliant with his word usage.

With today's games, the only team that can qualify for the finals after today is Mexico, with a win at home over Panama.

Teams that can be eliminated today: Kazakhstan, Norway, Malta, and Lithuania.

Teams already qualified: Russia, Brazil, Iran, Japan

Syria beat Qatar yesterday 3-1.

If South Korean loses @Uzbekistan on the 5th (not super likely), Syria can go into Tehran and come out as World Cup qualifiers with 3 points. Small chance, but what a great story that would be.

Much more likely, they'll end up finishing 3rd in their group, which means they will have to play a 2-leg playoff against Australia, Saudi Arabia, or the UAE just for the chance to play 2-legs against the 4th place CONCACAF team in the inter-confederation playoffs.

Mark my words, if Syria is guaranteed a spot with a win, Iran will miraculously lose (throw the game).

Syria @ Iran starts 30 minutes before South Korea @ Uzbekistan, but there is literally zero consequence for Iran to lose the game. Will be something to watch. Iran has no business losing to them, so if the final is like 1-0 with 70% possession to Iran, that would tell us something.

Ghana is in trouble. They have already had a slow start with only one point through 2 games. Thought they got a big help yesterday with Uganda beating Egypt, but now they are already down at home to Congo who has 0 points through 2.

Also, Poku is on their bench.
