Home - 04/19 Portland

I'd like to see how the team is going to respond after a Thursday game.

2 days of training, one day of rest is a huge factor in terms of fatigue.

Now we see if the team is fit enough to play.

I don't see Villa starting or even playing. A hamstring injury is one of the most time sensitive injuries to recover from and he's 33. I think he'll be sitting until next week at least. I hope I'm wrong.

Not sure Calle starts after nearly pulling his hamstring or whatever last night. But I don't want to start Brovsky again, sorry.

I think with the double game week we will see big changes. I wouldnt expect Villa to play. I think we see Tommy Mac and Mullins start, and I think we will see Dunn and Mendoza get their first minutes.

What exactly is going on with Villa? He isn't pulling a Defoe is he?

I'd say his injury is worse than they are letting on. Really makes no sense to pull him at half time, to "save him" for portland. Last night was our better chance to get 3 points this week.

Assuming Villa can't go, I'd love to see this.

If anyone is looking to pick up tickets, they're running a "No Fees" promotion over on Ticketmaster.

Of course it goes without saying I purchased my tickets yesterday. :D

If you're a season ticket holder fees are only $2/ticket every day, and for the same base price as the season package. If you are buying multiple tickets to even just 4-5 games it is worth it just for that considering how easy it is to recoup the season ticket cost through resale.

Is Facey the only other person who can play RB correctly? I wish we could play Calle as a LM and not a LB. Move Wingert over there and try Mendoza if we are all gunshy on Kwame now.

Do you think Nemec is too gassed now?

Brovsky actually played well against SKC at RB, I would play him over there for williams next game.

It would be key if Mix is able to push up like he did in the Mexico game. It's a total game changer as far as I'm concerned. He becomes a true field general, dangerous every time he touches the ball, rather than having to focus predominantly on D and only being in a position to play long balls.
