Game Of Thrones (spoilers)

Sam also fits under potential heir as Warden of the Reach. And Jamie (older brother) is warden of the Westerlands (now that Cercie relieved him of his kings guard obligation).

And the hound was never an official kingsguard. Or even a knight for that matter. But he was Joffrey’s personal body guard whatever that makes him.
Not true regarding the Hound. He was elevated to kings guard when Barristan Selmy was relieved of his spot. The Hound just refused to be made a knight.

And if we’re listing wardens of the cardinal directions that have potential ascension to the throne, Sansa is Warden of the North as Lady Stark. Her claim would be higher than Sam’s (as a lesser lord); unclear if the North is before the West/Jamie.

Pretty crazy to think about how many forces south of the wall were chewed up before the Great War with the Night King:

Rob’s Army (included the Northern lords and Tully)
Jamie’s Army (half the Lannister force)
House Tyrell
House Baratheon ( Stannis’ forces & Renly’s forces)
The Baratheon fleet
House Bolton (included House Frey and parts of the North Lords)
Asha Greyjoy’s fleet
House Martell (no leaders and fate of forces unclear)
Multiple minor houses’ force wiped-out
So many that could have been useful against the dead.

I don’t know of any kingdom having a higher ascension order than the other. And house Tarly were the 2nd highest house in the Reach. Without the Tyrells, they are not a lesser house anymore. They are the rightful lords and wardens of the Reach. Same way house Greyjoy took over for house hoar. Or Baratheon took over for Dundareon. Or for a moment Frey took over from Tully.

To happier thoughts, I am very glad that Jamie decided to be the man that Brienne always pushed him to be, and it took just a small interchange for that effect she has on him to bear fruit. I don't see them shipping, but I really like that they have paid off their relationship and the effect she always had on him when they were in each other's company.
Is Arya/Gendry shipping a thing, or is it just me? Because I'm all in on it.

Tonight's episode was everything.

It's weird because Sophie turner is actually barely more than a year older and I find her absolutely gorgeous , but I still think of Maisie as a baby...
same! It was so weird to see that scene... I was like "is she even over 18?"

What’s a little sex when having killed multiple people in the past???? And skinned their faces...
i think people are a bit bugged out by it (including the actor playing Gendry) due to the fact that weve watched her grow up with the show. On top of that shes still very tiny and young looking so it makes it a bit odd, even though theres technically nothing wrong with it. Before the episode even started i think HBO was doing some damage control with this tweet:

not sure how I feel about the theory where
they raise the dead from the Winterfell crypts
i can see it happening. they were saying way too many times how safe the crypts were going to be for them to actually be safe. Maybe not that exactly, but some shit gonna go down, down there

ETA: do we really need spoiler tags for talking about an episode that has already happened? I feel like if you havent watched you should stay off this thread until you have.

The thread title specifically says spoilers, so stuff that happened has to be fair game without tags.
The question is where theories fit. Speculation is part of the fun. OTOH some people don't even want to hear what might happen. It looks like people have been using their judgment, and maybe being a little more careful than necessary but there's no harm in that.

i like theories as long as they are your theories. ive skipped all the reddit theories if im being perfectly honest but im also okay with people posting them. But i do agree that putting a spoiler tag cant possibly hurt.

I cringed but only because I view her as being so young still in the show. You almost think it’s your family having watched her from that little sister perspective for 7 years. She’s at least 21 and a bit on the wild side IRL.
