[2014] Loan Watch

You guys want a team of guys who've been training together for 2 weeks to face Real Madrid in their first ever game together?

Maybe not at that level but more prestigious exhibition than some lower league non entity in England. It might be better to just keep it all unofficial and behind closed doors (at least for any games it could be an advantage for multiple reasons) and see how the MLS fixtures come out. You would think common sense would dictate it but Philadelphia for instance played their first MLS game away. Perhaps the SOBs didn't care where it was who knows?

I can see why people wouldn't want to play truly major opposition (possibly losing 3 or 4 nil is hardly an ideal first game result) but surely some lower-mid top flight European opposition would be good.

Apologies to any Doncaster fans reading who may be offended by using them as an example (lol) To be fair they have improved a lot since finishing bottom of the football league with an abysmal points total in 1998...

Sounds like Man City coming up with a bunch of ideas, and floating them to the media. Really no reason at all for NYC to train in England just to let Lamps continue to play for them. I see NYC and Man City as under the umbrella of CFG,but operating independently. I can't see Kreis being anyones bitch

Mel City are playing the Mel Victory at 4:45am tonight. I'll be watching for Villa and also because I can't fucking wait for the Hudson River Derby.

Any legal streams available? Sure I can find the not so legal ones but we can't talk about them here!

I'll link the reddit game thread if it's allowed.
Linking to game threads are fine.

FYI to others reading. Just be cool about streams. Don't outright ask cuz the comment may be removed. Obviously posting an illegal stream will also be removed. -Streams are easy to come by if you- look in the right places. This just can't be one of those places. Feel free to -PM me- if you have any questions.

If there's any big games and people want to ask for a way to watch it, they can just ask for the "game thread". That way we don't blatantly ask for streams that can get the site in trouble.

You can ask all you want but there can never be links to streams in this forum, or overly descriptive advice of how to find them. Pretending to ask for something else doesn't necessarily cut the mustard, as the response is still going to be blatant. TV companies can and do issue Cease and Desists against forums for propagating streams of games.

As Einwindir implied, we have nothing against you streaming if you choose to do so, as long as it's not come from us. It should be fairly simple for someone who has heard of google.com before and can work out a channel that is showing the game to find a stream for it.

I'm in. Thankfully this game is at a time when the sun is actually up here this week.

Had to sleep early so I could wake up. Time for the David Villa show! City scores!

Victory ties it with a goal that should have been offsides. However City got their goal on a free kick that came from a Damian Duff dive.

1-1. Both goals should have been disallowed so far (or, the City goal should never have been a freekick in the first place).
