Tailgating is the most enjoyable and affordable way to go! Maybe we could organize a forum members only tailgate area and have people run a larger grill so train folks can just walk over and join us!

I've been advocating for a tailgate since day 1. I would like to set up one of these in the summer!Screenshot 2015-04-28 14.11.55.png

300 level behind home plate has all of these... not so helpful when they don't open the upper decks though.

the best food in the stadium is obviously at NYY Steak, but it's steakhouse prices. I don't think I've had something from there that I didn't like. They have the biggest baked potatoes I've ever seen, great onion rings and bacon, the raw bar is good too, but the best is the NYY Steak 151 Volcano, vanilla bean ice cream covered with heath bar crunch flambéed tableside with a shot of 151 rum. They also have some pretty good sangria. Luckily I go to a lot of Yankees game with my friends parents who pay for all of this, but if you can splurge its worth it. Besides the steak house I go for the garlic fries, lobell's, or phil's.

I was so excited to try the Lobels sandwich. I ordered, it got back to my seat, took a few bites and my temporary crown fell off.
Put it down and remained hungry :(
Worst luck ever. The night before I took off for NY my temp crown fell off and I felt like an old man using fixodent during my entire vacation.

What's the best beer available at Yankee stadium in everyone's opinion?

can we get something straight, its not a bucket of chicken and fries... its a pail! the kind you build a sand castle with at the beach

That thing is bad news lol! Wish I could get a bucket of garlic fries and chicken

The empanadas at Yankee B&G are awesome - will be my new pregame go to.

I'm a vegetarian (who eats fish...and bacon;)) so the food at the stadium sucks for me.

I've tried the fried pickles at Brother Jimmys, not impressed. Had the egg rolls at Noodle Bowl - felt wrong, but was pretty good. Also had the fresh cut fries, they were soggy. I heard the ribbon fries are good, might give those a shot.

At Yankee games I used to get the garlic fries, but I'm tired of them. The food on the first level is pretty lame, I keep hearing about a nacho station...where is that?

TabascoDiva TabascoDiva the salads at McDonald's are unhealthy, eat well all week and then let the NYC match be your cheat meal and enjoy yourself. You can trust me I'm a lawyer...and a personal trainer:cool:

Thanks for the health tip. I thought having a diet fit for a rabbit once in a blue moon was sufficiently to keep me healthy

Why not? Get it together with NYCFC_Dan NYCFC_Dan, @einwindir , jerzy jerzy , Midas Mulligan Midas Mulligan and other members that are staple in the forum. Its an awesome idea, although I am not exactly sure what is a " tailgate" party ...do you need a car for that?o_O
We could set one up over under that bridge like Football Factory had for LFC/MCFC.

I'm in. I don't have a car, but I can throw some money down to help fund things.

Wait are you saying I'm NOT a staple in this forum???? "Regular Member" here. Last time I checked jerzy jerzy was a Junior Memeber and so were you ;). I'm the only one with a car and researched locations. I'll see what I can figure out for next home Match, weather permitting. Too late for Seattle. And btw till fantasy season is over @einwindir and I just give each other death stares across the room.

Ha, Ha, ha...You are the one with the big idea ;). As a junior member just helping you advocate it with my psychic sense with those those members that will not only like it, but also would help in the planning. My psychic heart tells me that there are many, many party animals in the forum.

adam adam, I don' have a car either and like my forum pal Midas Mulligan Midas Mulligan will also help with some money too. can I suggest some dates? Memorial day, fourth of July, or end of summer( is that Veterans day weekend when the beaches are closed?)

Umm... We don't have home matches on either Memorial Day weekend or 4th of July. You sure you understand what a tailgate is?

And I'm not making mine into a big thing either. I'll show up with beers and Q a little, probably just start with dogs to keep it easy. If others start showing up too so be it. Thank HoOty I don't need donations for such things, but I appreciate for he offers.

I believe there is a separate tailgate thread on here. Best thing to do is coordinate there. Those are other people with cars who will be parking and grilling too. Don't feel shy to come on by pre-match, if we get it going it should be fun :)
