Not sure how much people on here want to see/discuss this, but I thought it might be useful. I would like to open the thread up and if people have questions about a trade, signing or transfer, go for it.

To get us started I'm just going to copy/paste the updated list from the Summer 2014 MLS transfers from Wiki. I'll put in italics anyone who has transferred out of MLS permanently.

If you have preferred method for doing this, please let me know, I'll try to add new ones as we go and update this thread when possible. Enjoy!

So we had the word Crew used in a tweet and media saying daddy screwed up the deal. Was there more meat to the story?

Last night Taylor Twellman tweeted something about Paal Diskerud, Mix's father/manager, demanding more money after they had a handshake deal. The tweet has since been deleted. We can argue Twellman's journalistic integrity but he normally has pretty solid leads.

You can search reddit.com/r/mls for a couple active threads on the topic.

I hope it's not true. I'd love to see Mix in MLS even if it isn't with City. Unless we threw a number at Paal that was too good to pass up?
 
We've been through this before. At the end of the day, what's best for NYCFC is for the league itself to continue to grow and have the best American players, followed by the best international players.

Agreed. I was (and still am) ecstatic over Beasley signing w Dynamo. Just gotta bring Jozy and Mix back!

What's the latest with Jermaine Jones? Is he still in talks with Fire?

I haven't heard anything. The fire offered him something. Of course, you wonder whether he'd agree to a short term, short payment deal in order to take the DP spot Landon will be vacating at LAG come 2015.
 
Jones was reportedly offered $3 million a year but he says he wants MB money like Kjbert said ($6M/yr). He reportedly said no but the latest from MLS is he is still thinking about it. Chicago and Jones have until Sept 15.

Of course its all conjecture, no evidence.
