Again, this is a 4-3-3 with a holding midfield and Poku as a false 9. A few loans and minimal free agents, yet we appear to have a ton of depth with a typical bench of Johansen, Mena/Facey, Allen, Jacobson or McNamara, Mix, and Shelton.

Rox you're a great guy and have been doing wonders with TR but dude really? If Viera can make Kwame into a starting CB in 3 months of offseason he may as well skip man city and go straight to managing France.

Wynalda has said this before - but he believes Poku's long term position is as a CF. He knows him better than any of us.
I like him as a CAM because he likes to drift. I think he probably works best in a role like Clint Dempsey - play underneath a primary CF and roam around the pitch, finding space. But Wynalda thinks he is a CF.

Been reported in a couple of places that his contract was not renewed by the club. Similar to the Seba and Pablo news - nothing from the club on that.
I've also seen that Wingert is back with the club. Nothing on Grabavoy. I can live with that.

I like this look, and I'd be perfectly happy putting mix behind Pirlo/Lampard or even up front with Pirlo in back.
Maybe Wingert is like Milton from Office Space - while he was let go he just keeps coming to the office each day to play with his red soccer ball.
Lampard and Iraola really need to step up next season. That's a solid looking team if all goes well
Wynalda could be correct (Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria!).....
I know of another massive Bull of a forward player that'll take a ball, turns and runs straight at the defense before either unleashing a shot(goal) or making the correct pass..... and he's currently Montreal's 2015 MVP. The similarities in playing style are uncanny.
