Yup, it's sour grapes. The biggest disappointment for them was no one cared . I didn't see attendance numbers, they're b.s. anyway, but seeing the highlights, looks like stadium was 1/2 empty.
Our 2015 schedule thread started on Dec 18, 2014 with a post about at least the first three games. I took that to mean that last year that was the date they announced the schedule.

I think those 3 games were announced early as a teaser for the 2 expansion teams. The full schedule was released Jan 7 as noted:

I assume they're going to do something this weekend, leave early next week, train a few days down in PR, play the match and make it back to ice skate in Roc Center on Pirlo's dime.

The team isn't allowed to until a week before the game due to the CBA.
Training picks up (officially) next week. Though a few players did train on their own at Purchase yesterday.
