Because he's a shill for the club, constantly touting the company line as though it was actual reporting. The club feeds him sh*t and he serves it right back to us on a silver platter. Forgive us if we're now choosing to pass on his cuisine.
He already denied that, at least.
I thought it was because people are assuming he's touting either something minor (eg the Villa extension) or non-existent.
I believe we all think he has something, though it might be minor like the Villa extension. But based on his past, he's nothing more then a mouthpiece for the club. He's not 'reporting' what he knows, he's releasing information when the club tells him he can. He might as well stop calling himself a reporter and instead get a salaried position in the club's PR office.
I didn't think the club had any favored media people or operations (other than those it directly owns and employs). I guess this is progress, of a sort.
It's been going on with him for a while. Started with Frank and there have been other times too. I can't remember them all, I bet if we search Crooks on this we could find some more.
During the City in the Boroughs (Manhattan) event he spent 40% of the time asking his own bullshit questions rather than letting fans get their answers from Patricof, Reyna, and Ethan White.

I've got no beef with him. But if knows something and he's not beholden to the club (i.e. an employee) then he should spill the beans.
But didn't we all bitch in the past when they didn't release any info or communicate with reporters? Can't say they really do that now anyway but he has more inside info than anyone else that covers the team. Always has pre game interviews with PV and must have built up trust with the team. It's in his best interest to keep that for himself and not 'leak' something he knows will come out in a matter of days anyway.
How about as the club's radio play by play guy?

We need to start a tabloid and just post pictures of these guys with questions for headlines.
"HART HEADED TO NEW YORK; PERMANENTLY?"

Agreed, if it wasn't announced today, it won't be announced this week. Start 2017 with big news.
Was going to post this. Safe to say nothing announced until his vacation is over. Then maybe heads to Manchester while over there and player has physical.
