Seems to be a bromance developing between Lewis, Khiry, and Okoli.

That could be our front 3 for our Open Cup run. All we needed was some love.

Looks like we found our missing ingredient.

Also Farfan is still missing so I guess we're not signing him. Stertzer seems to making himself comfy, though.

It probably says something disturbing about me, but I actually remember Stertzer scoring his only MLS goal against us back in one of the most forgettable matches in 2015. Quality defending, as Jason Hernandez steps towards the target man, but still puts no pressure on him and therefore leaves the lane clear for the flicked header which Stertzer runs onto. We were so bad at the beginning of 2015.

Anyone else wish they'd stream this scrimmage against Jacksonville tonight?

I think we all would, but in fairness clubs tend to play at least one behind-closed-doors friendly at the very start of their pre-season for fitness reasons only. They tend to make no attempt at publicising it or making it accessible to fans because the aim of the game is never for any more than assessing who is looking like they came back from their off-season in good health. Consequently players tend to put in the kinds of performance which create massive negative overreactions from the fans, who rarely understand (or in some cases accept) that minutes run is more important to the coaching staff at that stage than creativity and commitment - which is why the clubs don't letting fans watch them.

Similar to the FGCU match last year. I was able to attend and it wasn't broadcast and rightfully so. Poor match, tons of subs and mostly a fitness test.
