2019 General MLS Transfer Rumors

The distance between their reported bid of €17 and the clubs ask of €50 is enormous. Plus they would be selling in fire sale circumstances, unless as Adam suggests they have a deal already done. When they sold Almiron they were under pressure to sell but Newcastle had even more pressure to buy. But this is the primary window for most leagues right now and buyers have many more options than Newcastle had, plus they won't be in the middle of a relegation battle. Anybody buying from Atlanta right now should be able to get very favorable terms. I think this is more rumor than real.

Sweet deal for FC Dallas too. Something for nothing basically.
There should be some limits to discovery claims though. A club should not have discovery rights to a player in high level leagues.

How about just abolishing discovery rights? It’s the most BS rule I’ve ever seen since people used to call Fivesies or shotgun in HS.

Discovery rights are cool.

James Harden joining the ownership group for Houston is really gonna raise the profile of the Dynamo. (Or MLS, if this means he's gonna start posting more about this.) They could easily start seeing a boost in attendance
