Not without knowing what the alternative is.Can we just dump both? Please?????
I’m really okay with not knowing. Not without knowing what the alternative is.
Why is ditching Mata linked to ditching Sweat again? Seems like the inverse is true, either way.I’m really okay with not knowing.
I still think there might be a player inside Mata.
But I’ll sacrifice him to ditch sweat.
What if Villa USL becomes our affiliate in USL so Haak and co can actually get minutes. In Queens .Guys that shouldn't be on the team next year under any circumstances:
Tmac
Wallace
Mata
Amagat
Medina
Ofori
Guys who are probably gone for Cap reasons:
Villa - not worth a DP spot
Sweat - probably traded for Gam/Tam to Cincy
Guys who want to leave because they aren't going to break into the lineup for any number of coaches reasons:
Lewis
SAS
Awuah
HG players that continue to defy logic of not getting minutes in any capacity:
Sands - played great in few appearances and then disappeared to the land of Lewis
Scally
HG players we're going to miss out on because of the above:
Haak and all of his teammates
Haak has the ability to play 1st team ball. What if Villa USL becomes our affiliate in USL so Haak and co can actually get minutes. In Queens .
Only qualm here is it hasn’t “defied logic” as to how Scally hasn’t gotten minutes. He’s behind Tinny and that’s pretty straight forward.Guys that shouldn't be on the team next year under any circumstances:

I think he has the potential. But we have only seen him in garbage time in a meaningless friendly. IIRC.Haak has the ability to play 1st team ball.
Because I’m not going to fight people that think Sweat is worth something. Too many people here think that saying Sweat is shit means you love Mata. I don’t. I think he’s better, obviously, because he is. But it’s not something I care to litigate again. Get rid of both and bring in someone to lock it down. Or don’t. I don’t really care. It won’t matter if we don’t have a new coach. Why is ditching Mata linked to ditching Sweat again? Seems like the inverse is true, either way.

So we should make a medium sized roster potential mistake so you don't have to watch Ulrich defend Sweat?Because I’m not going to fight people that think Sweat is worth something. One-time cut each year. Kick him to the curb with that contract.
We had matches during the injury crisis when we didn’t have any forwards - the kid can play wing and wasn’t given a shot.Only qualm here is it hasn’t “defied logic” as to how Scally hasn’t gotten minutes. He’s behind Tinny and that’s pretty straight forward.
What if my aunt had a pair of balls? What if Villa USL becomes our affiliate in USL so Haak and co can actually get minutes. In Queens .
Actually, I was saying kick Mata to the curb. He’s never been worth his salary. So we should make a medium sized roster potential mistake so you don't have to watch Ulrich defend Sweat?
Well when you put it that way lol. Anyway I think I saw Ulrich concede that he isn't worth a much bigger contract so maybe it's not necessary .
My bad, misunderstood lol.Actually, I was saying kick Mata to the curb. He’s never been worth his salary.
Too bad he seems so fragile, mentally and on the ball. There seems to be a deep history of higher profile foreign players stepping up in their 2nd MLS season. We've even seen it with Maxi, who went from being "good but not DP good" to imo MLS best XI and our MVP.
Hopefully Medina abides by this trend.
