I already emailed to ask how do I get there when that stretch of River Avenue is closed before games? I'm sure they let you in with a pass but I'm testing to see if I get a response before game time. Pathetic if I don't given when they told me.
Not a bad idea to look into subtle details or changes in plans to telegraph an impending announcement.
And the validation (they just couldn’t get the scanning right) is as far away from the parking lot as you can get.
I thought about that, too. The validator is close to Legends and Delta, and far from Champions and Pitchside. This setup is most crazy for pitchside people I think. They garage is basically across the street from where they sit. But they have to park, then walk to the other side of the stadium by Jerome Avenue to get validated, then walk all the way back to pitchside to sit. At least I guess it's a short walk when they leave. I also remember when I sat in your Champion seats (thanks again) that the detour to get validation was ridiculous. The garages I used to use were convenient both for where it was convenient for me to enter/leave the stadium and for access to the highway. Now neither is good.

I believe it was different for different lots. At the one I used, I would just have to give them my pass when I entered the garage before the game, and that was it. No additional validation was necessary.
That's how the Ruppert Plaza garage worked. The 153rd Street Garage always used the validation system. To add some detail, when you enter the garages that need validation you get a typical garage ticket from a machine when you enter. You take that to one of 2 stations in the Stadium (both on the Jerome Avenue side of things) with your pass. They punch holes in the garage ticket that turns it into a paid ticket you can insert when you leave. Without a pass, you go to a machine in the garage that charges your credit card and does the same thing.
yeah, me too - was hoping for something cheaper that's close to 87
Ruppert only takes card though, there's a lot right across that takes cash for $30 and depending on attendance numbers can take about 10 minutes to get out of.
