Apparently, whoever was the "Head of Fan Services" is no longer with the team...
Was that still Dan Steeves? He was here as of some point during the off-season, but I noticed he was missing from the FO list about a week ago.Apparently, whoever was the "Head of Fan Services" is no longer with the team...
Should be as easy as that, though I've never tried it.I have a ticket I want to send to a friend. I do not want to transfer it via Ticketmaster. I have an iPhone and I know I can share from my wallet if he has an iPhone. If he has Android, is there a way to share the pass? Is it as simple as taking a screen shot and letting him use that? I think the answer is yes.
Should be.....but has anything the club done digitally not end up 8x more complicated, error prone, and straight up lazy? I know we are talking about TM, but we've seen how the StubHub deal worked out.Should be as easy as that, though I've never tried it.
Well I feel like screenshotting and sending isn't a club thing, but moreso just a technology thing. I see no reason why screenshotting a QR code and texting it to someone shouldn't work. But I also wouldn't be surprised if ticketmaster and others have built in some form of security to make this more difficult to do.Should be.....but has anything the club done digitally not end up 8x more complicated, error prone, and straight up lazy? Got the following info from this site. LINKI have a ticket I want to send to a friend. I do not want to transfer it via Ticketmaster. Thanks. I researched it too, and was surprised I could not find anything to address it directly. Everything is like what you posted here. They tell you how to share, which I do all the time, for example, with my family, but we all have iPhones. And none of the articles say whether this only works with other iPhones, or if it is platform agnostic.Got the following info from this site. LINK
How to share cards from Wallet:
1. Launch the Wallet app on your iPhone.
2. Tap the card you'd like to share.
3. Tap on the info button in the right corner of the pass.
4. Launch the Wallet app, tap on the card you'd like to share, and then tap on the info button in the bottom right corner.
5. Tap on the Share Pass button.
6. Tap on the method you'd like to use to share the pass. These include email, message, AirDrop, and any other third party apps or extensions that support Wallet.
Step 6 looks like the biggest one, you could just text/email it to him if he has an Android? I don't have an iphone or any idevice, so not sure if this is actually helpful or not.
Also found a 3rd party app for Android devices that may be able to read/use Passbook passes on an android device. LINK
I'm somewhat curious about this as well, being that many of my friends are part of the iphone family and I'm a Pixel2 guy.
Thank you.I’m surprised it seems I’m the only one who does this often, but yes- the screenshot method works just fine, and it’s faster/easier than the whole airdrop process.
That's why the MTA uses "moving" bar codes on their ticketing apps. The images don't actually get scanned, but they are animated so a conductor would know immediately if it's a dupe.Well I feel like screenshotting and sending isn't a club thing, but moreso just a technology thing.
