Rep asked if they could talk Monday morning.

I said yes.

Rep then emails this afternoon and said sorry, they couldn't talk this morning, but they could talk anytime this afternoon.

I told them a time.

Rep then calls me at a different time to tell me he can't talk and then doesn't pick up when I call them back.

What is going on?

understaffed, undertrained, and swamped with unhappy STHs

This is essentially what I told my rep after he explained what tiered pricing is like I was an idiot. And then proceeded to tell me the lower rba prices were a reward. Not a reward in any sense. Except for to the club for being sneaky about what they were doing.

Once I use up the money in my account I am out til the stadium is built. Whenever that may be.
The cheaper tickets were a reward like the inflated tickets are a punishment. They can't just use half of the example.

FredMertz grrat post and I hadn’t considered that. They should have lowered the OVERALL cost and tried tried to back into higher prices for yankee stadium. Great post

So... my kids are clearly not vaccinated at 2.5 and 5.5 years of age. I don't feel comfortable bringing them to the stadium with no social distancing, no vaccine or negative test requirement, and numbers climbing. So now im stuck with 4 overpriced, unusable, unsellable tickets.

The front office really should have thought that predicament through

I am still pretty confused by the numbers. There's no transparency about what the tiers were for the games that already occurred, right? Based on the information in the club communication last week, I did my best to guess for supporter's section (founding member) pricing, but I'm confused. With the tiered pricing in the club's email, my spreadsheet seems to add up to more than I recall my entire package costing. Adding to the confusion, I can't even find a complete invoice for 2021 in my NYCFC account manager.

Thanks to MumonA for digging up the 2019 charts (the gulf between tiers for 2021 represent a pretty big departure from 2019). Now that I am already partway into my payment plan for 2022, I need to figure out whether it makes sense to carry on.

I'm a founding member (my name's on the inaugural scarf) and a charter member of third rail. But this club is trying to get me to quit

I think the Pumas game in that extra tournament is probably putting you over, but I could be wrong. Are you over by a substantially large sum of money, or presumably over by a game or two? Just curious.

The May 13 renewal email should have your total cost included. And the RBA prices were lower, so make sure you're not tiering those matches.

Thanks Schwallacus and joe, after looking at the total in the 5/13 email, I've now got the figures to within $3 which probably means that a few of the games were +/- 50¢ (I noticed for example that the game tomorrow at RBA against Montreal is 50¢ more than the one scheduled against Chicago at RBA on 10/27).

Edit: So to attend 8 out of 17 "home" games (only the current YS matches, assuming conservatively that the 2 possible moves from RBA in Oct back to YS don't happen) I am spending 57% of the total cost to attend 47% of the games. If the 2 moves happen, 10 out of 17 games, 70% of the total cost for 58% of the games

Yeap. Doesn’t it suck?

Pretty sure there are six home games left - Orlando, Columbus, New England, Dallas, Red Bulls, and Philly - plus the Pumas game. Miami has already been moved to RBA. I got about 60% of the money for under 40% of the games when I did similar math.

Yes, sorry, to be clear I was counting 2 that I already attended at YS among the 8-10 overall at YS

If DC (10/23) and Chicago (10/27) are kept at RBA, it's 47% of games for 68% of cost. If those games are moved to Yankee Stadium it's 59% of games at 77% cost.

My average ticket price went up greater than 60% on a per game basis for Yankee Stadium, approaching Yankees Legends ticket pricing.

So we still have the ability to trade in tickets? I’m trying to trade in my 7/30 tickets and upgrade for this Sunday

just went to my account and there is no trade in option. I know there is at least one game that I can’t attend - better be able to do this and upgrade for another game…

Looks like we’ll all have to log in tomorrow. I need to dump next Friday (soccer tourney at 8 am at Jones Beach the following morning).
Jones Beach is great by the way. Had never been there before. Had the first tourney there this past Saturday. It’s beautiful.

What Parking Field is it by? Near the theater or elsewhere? I grew up just north of there but never knew there were areas to play soccer.

Does anyone know why it would be that this thread never shows up on my "new posts" list? I always have to manually find the thread to see updates.

I had the option to trade in a couple of games (this Sunday vs. Orlando and next Friday vs. New England). The other ones not yet.

I can also finally use my piggy bank for tickets on Sunday. Unfortunately, the choices are not that good - there is a paucity of tickets. Maybe after some time once season ticket holders can start to trade in.

I can confirm trade-in is now working for certain events.
