That would probably be the best-case scenario for the team. Clears a DP spot, clears an unproductive high-priced player, and doesn't really hurt the depth of the club since Medina so infrequently played. We should only be so lucky as to only lose Medina and not Sweat/Ibeagha

Guess we want to retain his MLS rights in hope he ever comes back. Then again we could always purchase those for GAM in that rare chance if he says he he wants to play for NYC. Also hopefully discovery rights go the way of the dodo in the new CBA. It’s the dumbest rule ever.
