San Diego FC signs Iloski on a half-season loan. For reasons unknown to me he does not start until June 25. But in 14 matches and just 479 minutes he scores 10 goals, or an insane 1.89 goals per 90. That comes to a goal every 48 minutes. He scored 4 against Vancouver the first time he finally started.
But, though a transfer was planned, there was no option, and they could not agree on price, so he's going back to his original club.
It's a shame. The 4-goal game and low minutes played skews his numbers. Even in MLS he's not going to score more than 1.5 goals/90 consistently. But, that success undoubtedly caused Nordsjælland to raise their ask to an amount San Diego can't justify.
