2026 MLS Regular Season

Doyle’s final preseason rankings from his newsletter:

Real ones know Doyle reads the forums and he was won over by the steadfast ardor and positivity of ZYanksRule.

It's strange because Doyle is consistently down on Magno and Raul but any ranking that high would seemingly require both to have exceptional seasons. Although Doyle has been steadfastly bullish on Ojeda so maybe he's banking on a big break out season from him.

Is this a real thing? Who is John Muller?
Not to full certainty but there were times that Doyle referenced things that seemed to come straight from things written here. It might even have been explicit though my memory is not clear on that.
John Muller used the handle dummyrun here. He co-founded The Outfield and later wrote for the Athletic.

They look REALLY bad. I think Red Bull look good too but it’s hard to tell against this shit team
Seriously. Although if a 17-year-old scoring a first half brace is precedent setting for the metropolitan area, I would totally dig that. Ahem. 😉

All joking aside, Orlando really does look awful. I don't know if it's a fitness issue or lack of confidence, but they're a step behind on everything, all over the pitch. Really, really bad.

maybe redbull are making them look that bad? definitely possible.

the bradley coaching era begins? kinda surprised considering they got rid of so many of their core players. should make for a good derby and always in favor of more hype around the derby and both teams. it's a win for everyone.

Still trying to find out why Alladoh was shown the straight red. He threw someone down from behind, but I didn't think it was bad enough for more than a yellow. But he was barking afterward. Maybe something he said?
