2026 Roster and Transfer Discussion Thread

Last season, Pascal seemed to give Shore a solid amount of starts to show what he could do early in the season. I'm hoping he does the same with Reid this year.
Pascal definitely isn't afraid to play the young guys, so you very well may get your wish. Seymour just needs to show out in preseason.

We still desperately need more guys in the attack who score more than a maximum of 3 goals a season.
Exactly. Without adding at least 2 reliable goal scorers we will be back to fighting for a middling playoff seed. It’s so obvious what we are missing.

My optimistic view:

Reid / Alonso can combine for 15 goals over the year.
Nico can put in 12
Magno 8
Hannes 8
Maxi, Ojeda, Keaton (?), Perea (?), Julian, defenders all good for 1-3 for a total of another 12.

That gets us to 55. Beats our 2025 total of 49. Here's hoping.

Nothing from the team, but judging by previous ACL injuries I think we're looking at probably absolutely no earlier than August, and probably closer to September or October. I think anything we get out of him this season is gravy.
I remember seeing eight to nine months as the full course of rehab and he had his surgery in December. Then there's training up to match fitness after that. So that math checks out.

Sucks, though. Not just what happened and who it happened to — he's such a great dude — but how it happened. It's like his foot got glued in place as the rest of him moved.

Damn turf. Glenn Crooks said he walked out on it to do an interview at midfield and by the time he walked back to the touchline, his knees hurt.

Jerry Rice optimism? Anyone?

That would have him back for our home opener.
