Must have learned it from Earnie Stewart.Relatedly but off topic, I never paid much attention to Pascal's accent, but listening to this longish clip it struck me that unlike many Europeans who learn English he does not have any English accent mixed with his native accent. Which is more surprising because he was born in England, grew up in Holland, has one English and one Dutch parent, and is himself a dual English/Dutch citizen. If anything it sounds like he tries to affect an American accent, and IMO does so pretty well, though a little lilt of something underlies it. Which doesn't sound at all Dutch to me, but I don't know what else it would be.
Yeah Earnie sounds mostly American also. It's less surprising since he's an overseas military brat so he grew up with it. And his slight accent does sound like it could be Dutch to me.Must have learned it from Earnie Stewart.
Is Matt Doyle ridiculously high on Seymour Reid or is he pulling our leg? This is from his preseason Power Rankings. He has us at #8, with this summary:Hopefully when he gets chances, he can SHOOT at the goal and not try to pass it to the keeper.
pretty sure it's a joke - but now i'm really not sure lolIs Matt Doyle ridiculously high on Seymour Reid or is he pulling our leg? This is from his preseason Power Rankings. He has us at #8, with this summary:
NYCFC: If Seymour Reid is the Matchday 1 starter at center forward I might just move this team up to No. 1.
He also had this to say about an old friend:Is Matt Doyle ridiculously high on Seymour Reid or is he pulling our leg? This is from his preseason Power Rankings. He has us at #8, with this summary:
