The ideal would be he can play at the 9 very well, but also be able to shift out to the wing so he can play with Alonso as well so I am ok if that is the case. This was my first thought as well but checking his previous stats hes about as pure a winger as they come. It's actually rare to look up an attacking player and not see at least a small number of starts at striker This guy never plays striker. That said I'm with mgarbowski in thinking we still need a winger in addition to a striker. Between game one and preseason Ojeda is 3 for 3 in kicking the ball 4 ft. above the cross bar from very good shooting positions in the box. I also think this whole Talles wants to be a 9 story is because he won't play enough D to start as a winger in our system.

Don't think that's true. Dunivant has been moving quicker than Lee ever did, and Lee has like half a roster for SKC with the season already underway.

He signed one player to replace Haak who the front office knew was upset and considering leaving last offseason and replaced him with a intra CFG signing. Not really an indicator that he is moving quicker. Time will tell, but CFG seems to always have a finger in the big signings we make.

Pascal has said this directly in interviews during preseason but it keeps coming up He's clearly done with his, I'll make it work with what we have phase from last year. He has lofty goals and has been very direct in his expectations that they sign a striker ASAP. Are we headed for Dome territory if this drags out?
