Yes. However it’s no longer for credit. You exchange game for game. I was just dealing with this as I can’t attend a bunch of games and had to work with my advisor or whatever you call them.Do season ticket holders have unlimited trade ins this year?
Wow, that's substantially worse. One more reason I'm not regretting giving up my season tickets this year.Yes. However it’s no longer for credit. You exchange game for game. I was just dealing with this as I can’t attend a bunch of games and had to work with my advisor or whatever you call them.
When you trade in you have to chose another game. You no longer can bank the credit or the game, it wants you to chose something immediately. And if you are trying to trade for a game of higher cost you have to pay the difference, if it’s cheaper you lose the extra value and the Miami game and LA game are both unavailable for a trade. It’s quite a process. I prefer the credits.
13,000 STHs, or 13,000 sold season tickets? I'm not meaning to be pedantic it makes a difference in terms of selling the new stadium. Because if there are 13k STHs currently buying >13k seats, plus another 13k depositors, they should be way oversubscribed. That's so even if a decent number of current holders drop out due to higher prices. He confirmed the team has around 13,000 season ticket holders.

I realize you don't have this answer, but I'd also like to know how many premium seats were sold to people or companies who are not current STHs, and whether they are considered part of either 13k number.
I'm also concerned that some current STHs will be find that the seats they are able/willing to afford are gone by the time it is their turn. The stadium won't be sold out in full, but it will operate as if it were sold out from their point of view.
For the record, those deposit-holders include people who bought a playoff ticket last year; they did a bunch of small deposit offers. Many of those people are unlikely to actually buy season tickets in the new stadium, but they put a deposit down or had one put down for them.
Brad said he expects every game to be sold out for 10-15 years as part of their "30-year business plan" and while I think that's a bit of hyperbole, I think almost every game will be sold out for at least a few years in the new stadium until the novelty wears off. We're averaging 21,000 fans/game in baseball stadiums, there's going to be a lot of interest in going to an actual soccer stadium to watch soccer.
Something tells me they are going to have a hard time selling out single game tickets for those early December or late February games, no matter how exciting the stadium is.
The way I heard it is that they would tilt the schedule towards warmer cities during the coldest months, but it wouldn't be a hard and fast rule, so we'll still get games in winter, albeit less than Orlando.I thought the plan was to play the games immediately around the winter break on the road, so hopefully we would usually play our last home game in November and our first home game in March.
As a Mets fan the wind off flushing bay in the early season can be unbearableThe way I heard it is that they would tilt the schedule towards warmer cities during the coldest months, but it wouldn't be a hard and fast rule, so we'll still get games in winter, albeit less than Orlando.
I suspect they are going to try harder to keep Toronto, Montreal, Minnesota, and maybe Chicago away from home. We will be in that 2nd tier.
Personally, I think going 4+ months in the middle of the season without a home match is just a bit too long.
Btw, does anyone know the localized conditions of WP? Is it generally colder than the city average, more wind etc? Or is it pretty much in line.
100% this. I have tickets for soccer jersey day in early-ish June and I'm really hoping it's a nice warm day.As a Mets fan the wind off flushing bay in the early season can be unbearable
It's mid-March. Today's match will be in the upper 30s wind chill at best, dropping down to the mid 30s. My down jacket's waiting for me.I thought the plan was to play the games immediately around the winter break on the road, so hopefully we would usually play our last home game in November and our first home game in March.
